youre trying to control something outside yourself (that you cant control)

because it represents something inside of you

that is stirring

that shows you who you might become

and youre afraid of who you might become

so youre trying to control this thing (but its something inside yourself you cant control)

it wants to develop itself

and you can try to control it (to squelch it) this will basically wreck the development

or you can let it develop itself

and you will grow as you were meant to
